Eugenate Desobturator, developed by PD, is a pure orange oil solvent used during endodontic retreatment to soften eugenol-based cements (eugenate) and gutta-percha points for subsequent mechanical removal. Softening the obturating material makes it easier to remove, particularly where the hardness or location of the material makes retreatment difficult.
Only a few drops of solvent are needed, so precise drop-by-drop dosing is recommended — PD Plastic Pipettes (0.3 ml) are ideal for controlled delivery.
